COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidance and Policies

The health and safety of our employees, customers and business partners are our top priority. As the impact from Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues around the world, we would like to share with you information, guidance and policies that we have in place and that we can all use to protect each other on our job sites.

With that, please take the time to review

Proper Hygiene and Safety Precautions

Our employees are notified to comply with the guidelines issued by the CDC , including:

Use non-contact methods to greet each other
Practice social distancing
Clean or wash hands regularly
Disinfect surfaces

Most importantly, as required by the situation, we are ensuring our employees have the proper personal protection equipment to keep them safe.

If Employees are Sick

Employees are notified to stay home if they a have fever, cough, or difficulty breathing. They should seek medical care early and stay away from others. They should not return to one of our offices or jobsites until they show no signs of illness or fever, without the use of a fever reducing medicine, for 24 hours.

Alert the appropriate contact if an employee tests positive for COVID-19 or has had close contact with an individual who has a confirmed positive test result for COVID-19. Such person is not allowed at one of our jobsites or offices until they have been symptom-free for 14 days from the date of contact.

Travel and Access to Customer Sites

Employees who have been to a Level 3 country listed on the CDC watch/, which currently includes China, Hong Kong, Iran, South Korea, and many European countries, are not allowed at one of our jobsites or offices for 14 days from the date that they departed from that location. Additionally, if an employee at our company had close contact with any individual who has recently traveled to a Level 3 country, they are not allowed at one of our jobsites or offices until he/she has been symptom-free for 14 days from the date of last contact.

Additional Service Requests

We realize, in moment like this , we will have on demand requests that EXCEL will work on ensuring delivery of service however we also understand that all scenarios vary depending on circumstances and the requests could be handled from a low priority – high standpoint. This means depending on the circumstance we can staff immediately or will need at minimum 5 – 7 days notification to staff. Our average time to provide coverage in such immediate request varies from 1 – 4 days but we want to advise you of maximum amount of time.

Call Outs

EXCEL senior management is closely monitoring ALL sites via our biometric system or via constant communication with employees and ensuring we are not missing any days of services. However we cannot control if an employee calls out due to being ill, in this case EXCEL has Field Operators and / or manager and supervisors that can assist with substituting any facility that will be in need of service. This perhaps will cause a slight hiccup but overall will avoid a missed service.

We will continue to closely monitor this dynamic situation, and our policies and guidelines are likely to change as circumstances continue to evolve.
